Is It Good Enough?
It almost got me. That very familiar feeling. Even now as I’m about to launch something I’m excited about. Maybe because of it. That oh-so-specific twang in my stomach created by the old, old, old thought, “Is it good enough?” I’ve heard that thought so many fuqing times that I became conscious of it. I finally understand it. I am so aware that opinion is quite simply something that I’ve been experiencing. Basically, just because I heard it, I believed it. That opinion wasn’t actually me all along. Well…if that’s the case… I guess I never had to listen to it in the first place… Damn. Okay then. Time to…

Why Your WHY Is Your Super Power
From a young age, I never wondered why Wonder Woman was one of the awesome-est super heroes of all time. All she had to do was spin around real fast and she was darned near invincible. She had those bangin’ bracelets. And she could fly! If you could have one super power, what would you choose? What if I told you that you already had a super power? You actually have access to a part of yourself that will give you more strength and power than you ever thought possible. It will allow you to communicate with people on a deeper level with real authenticity. And it will allow you…

Book Review: The Science of Getting Rich
I have to admit that I might be late to the table here. Seems a lot of folks may have read The Science of Getting Rich already. I consider myself fairly well read, and I just picked this book up after hearing about it from another entrepreneur. So this book review is just to make sure you’ve read it too. I took this entrepreneur’s specific advice (I cannot for the life of me remember who!) and got the audio version of the book. You can buy it for a couple of dollars on Amazon/Kindle/Audible, OR, you can listen to one of many recordings for free on YouTube. Wallace Waddles (great…

Creating a Memorable Experience for Your Clients
I was sitting in the chair, waiting. My experience wasn’t going well so far. My hands, clamped tight, were starting to sweat. I was looking around, for someone…anyone to walk by. I admit to the world that this is not my strong suit. It never has been. I am courageous about many things. The dentist isn’t one of them. In my own defense, I spent 8 years of my youth in an orthodontic appliance of some sort or another. And I’ve had braces, twice. My mouth was a mess. I now have great teeth thank you to the intervention of my parents and the sadistic tendencies of my Orthodontist, Dr.…

Who Are You Meant To Serve?
Who are you meant to serve? Who do you need to work with in your business because you feel driven to do so? A good friend, and creative genius, Megan Atkinson, posted this very question on her blog Ignite Your Cause, just the other day. It was her December #MissionIgnition Challenge. Such a good question, in fact, that I felt compelled to answer. The best part about her question? You are not to use demographics. What you are to do is talk about the real juice. What do they care about? How do they deal with adversity? In her words, “What are the deeply ingrained characteristics of the people you…
