Creating a Memorable Experience for Your Clients
I was sitting in the chair, waiting. My experience wasn’t going well so far. My hands, clamped tight, were starting to sweat. I was looking around, for someone…anyone to walk by. I admit to the world that this is not my strong suit. It never has been. I am courageous about many things. The dentist isn’t one of them. In my own defense, I spent 8 years of my youth in an orthodontic appliance of some sort or another. And I’ve had braces, twice. My mouth was a mess. Negotiating Without the B-Word
Whew! I had such an interesting day. I had to share it with you. I want to talk about something that may come up more than we realize. Its about women and how we negotiate in business. And, because she is eager to see the results of her query, it takes longer than normal. “Come on.” Finally the page loads.…

The glory of finally determining what your heart calls you to do can last for some time. It provides a natural lightness to everyday existence that everyone should get the chance to experience. When I knew coaching was my next step, I walked around in the glory of the realization for over a year,…

The Power of Knowing Your Values
Do you know what your values are? Do you even care? Have you ever struggled with something, wondering why you invested time, energy and possibly money in something that turned out not to pay off? How about that gym membership where the only time they see your name is when they send your bill? How about those unsuccessful relationships with significant others? Or that job you don’t enjoy? Here’s the little-realized piece of knowledge: most of the time, when things aren’t working out, it is because in some way you could not commit yourself fully – because what was happening was out of alignment with your true values. Huh? (I…
